           One On One Instruction

​

Private training is a great alternative for people with dogs that:

  • need a little extra help to strenghten behaviors taught in class

  • need individual attention outside of our class curriculum

  • are busy and want to optimize their time

  • are not able to get into classes due to schedule conflicts

  • are not ready to participate in a group setting

  • Cost is $100.00 + gst per hour + rental cost of facility

 

Sessions are booked on an hourly basis.

           Group Agility Classes

 

All our teaching methods are Positive and use Motivational techniques. 

 

We offer

  • Multiple levels of agility

  • Advanced Handler Workshops     

  • Special Skills classes

 

Our classes prepare the handler and dog for NADAC, AAC, CKC or AKC sanctioned trial competition.

This is a great way for your dog to have fun, build confidence and burn lots of mental and physical energy.

 

All group classes run for 8 weeks for $306.60.

           Agility Level 1 (Beginner)

​

The focus of these classes is to build a strong foundation and create a thinking dog.  We will work on the relationship between dog and handler building dog/handler focus, motivation and teamwork.  Equipment performance will be taught using positive reinforcement.  We will build confidence and commitment on all pieces of equipment. These classes will be taught on leash and please complete and e-mail your registration form prior to class or bring it with you to the first class.  Please have your dog on a flat collar with a 6 ft leash and bring soft treats to class with you.  If you require a different collar for control please have both on your dog as you will be asked to switch to the flat collar when working the obstacles for safety reasons.  Dogs should have basic manners. These classes are held Mondays at 6:45 PM.

           Agility Levels 2 & 3

​

The focus of these classes is to continue to work on the relationship between dog and handler building dog/handler focus, motivation and teamwork.  We will continue to build confidence and commitment on all pieces of equipment.  We also teach changes of sides, directional commands and distance with exercises that can be practiced at home without equipment.  YES YOU WILL HAVE HOMEWORK!!  These classes will progress to short sequences. These classes are held Mondays at 8:00 PM.

LEVEL 2 - For dogs that have completed Level 1 (beginner)

LEVEL 3 - For dogs that have completed Level 2

 Level 4 A 

 

The focus of this class will be understanding how to analyze and walk courses to be the most effective team you can be.  We will also work to improve your handling skills and increase distance.  We will be running full courses. This class is for dogs that are already trialing or ready to trial.  Dogs must be competent on all pieces of equipment.  These classes are held Mondays at 6:45 PM.

 
Level 4 B 
         

The focus of this class is to build your handling skills and teach an understanding of courses.  We will continue to expand on changes of sides, directional commands, obstacle performance and distance and teach course skills and obstacle discrimination.  This class will use short sequences specifically designed for the individual skills being taught. We will work towards being able to run full courses..  Dogs should be comfortable on all pieces of equipment.  These classes are held Monday at 8:00 PM.
